Cullinane College is privileged to be hosting O’Shea Shield, one of New Zealand’s oldest intercollegiate competitions. Catholic Colleges from across the Wellington and Palmerston North Diocese compete in public speaking, drama and debating events throughout the weekend. Cullinane College only has the opportunity to host once every 17 years, so this is a very auspicious and prestigious event for us, our Parish and the wider Whanganui community.
We would like to extend an invitation to our community to be part of this event. This may be in the way of support or attendance over the weekend, or perhaps taking the opportunity to contribute sponsorship, providing goods for koha bags for the participants or maybe a donation to assist with the cost of running this event. We are expecting approximately 500 people at this event so your assistance would be greatly appreciated by the organising committee.
